Tiesto wil be glad to hear that! He and Armin always had a difficult relationship and with this action it wouldn't be better. I wonder who is gonna close Queensday on Museumplein. Or are we finally getting a B2B of 2 of the worlds greatest dj's.

Armin also said that they don't have each others phonenumbers etc. They never been negative about each others work but you can feel that there is some friction between them. If you have read Armin's book you knew that Armin is disapointed in the way Tijs left the team just to start for himself.

Of course, the fans make things worser then it realy is, but they are not the close friends that they once where. Or do i have to bring up the 'fight' for the closing act on Queensday 1 or 2 years ago? As long as they can life side by side, there is no problem, but when things come together the ego's come with them.

Your level of sadness exceeds that of the tellytubbies.

If Armin and Tiesto aren't buds, I'd be tempted to blame Tiesto. He's the one with a well-known tendency to be a douche.

Then again, I might just be bitter because he refuses to team up with Ferry and make more Gouryella tracks.

True, but Armin manages to remain a nice guy despite his fame, whereas Tiesto seems to have let it go to his head.

Agreed. Armin does seem to be a genuinely decenty guy, despite the majority of the music he plays. He could be a fantastic DJ if he chose to be, given his experience. Unfortunately, as gets pointed out ad-nauseum on here, he just plays cookie-cutter, predictable and boring music.

Tijs (or at least his management) have just gotten way too egotisitcal, although it's all irrelevent since he now just produces / plays utter crap. I enjoyed one of his shows, but since then, his management said the biggest club in Asia wasn't big enough or important enough for him to play at.
