It's not bad, i like the build up and it's mixed together nicely. But I really would put in a more energetic bassdrum, it sounds like a weak 808 bd, i'd certainly put in a punchy 909.sample. I like the sounds of the melody, really sounds trancy but, the melody is same as the bd, it needs some more energy imo, it would be fine for buildup, but melody sounds too weak for me to keep the crowd busy. As allround point I would say the sounds miss a little power, did you create the song with software only? But I hear you have something in you, you should really continu making music. hope this helps you a little
greets

Its the first one i have ever created with Reason.

Actually i had the same thing in mind.... synths sound too primitive.

well that's the problem with soft synths imo, they sound thin and cheesy if you only use the onboard sounds, reason can sound good if you sample real (v)a synths with it, i'll put some songs of me online very soon, the leads are all created by a hardware va synth. Loads of energy ... you'll hear the warmth is not comparable to softsynth. You do have to spend some money to hardsynths before it can sound really good.

Damnit this again...

Its not the softsynths, its the person behind it.
A trick is to stereo your synths, meaning that you duplicate your synth, so you have 2 same synths on your mixer with same eq/reverb/echo, and just pan them left and right on your mixer.

Also use atleast 2-3(4-6) for a full sound.
And you need to learn to use the sub cause the synth used is very basic.

Also use another kick, its too thin, try maybe and sample some from ur favorite tunes .

Else its just practicing really......

Thanx for great tips.

909 bassdrum brought much more energy into this tune.

Anyway, you can download the new version from HERE (Same address)

^^^^^ what they said ^^^^^

you gotta duplicate lead synths because the subtractor only generates mono sound, so you need 2 for the full stereo effect, which makes lead synths a lot more powerful
