One of my decks is alot louder than the other, and yes before smart arse bill asks, the channel gains are equal.......
any ideas?

different model carts? newer needle on one deck? maybe one of the needles got damaged?

tables not balanced/weighted the same?

check the headshell connections... sometimes they can be a little flakey and add some resistance but not totally open circuit... dislodge the headshell from the tonearm and clean the contacts. reseat tightly

check the wires between the shell and cart also..

maybe try reversing the decks on the mixer - see if channel x is still louder than channel y - to determine if it's truely one of the decks, or the mixer...
