Analogous

This is the kinda trance that really suits my fancy. Been also holding onto this one for awhile, but thought I'd finally share.

Analogous by TheTA

I strived for a more "oldschool" feel. Kept it simple. It currently ends at the break, as I'm still deciding what to do.

Percs will be filled out once things move along, taking this one slow however.

Maybe a nice piano interlude on the breakdown/bridge and then build it back in...

Not as concerned with the mix on this one. 303 arps might be a bit too present when the second nord lead hits.

Thoughts/criticisms are welcome though.

the melodies are quite nice, but the whole track feels empty. Try adding some more elements like some perc, another hihat, pads etc etc. Also, the snare sounds a bit thin. Try to beef it up. The 303, as you siad is a bit to prominent, try to make it less "in your face" and maybe play some with the automation

Cheers, thanks for the feedback.

I get what you mean about the emptiness...I may try going through some 80's/90's trance to see what they did to shape their tracks. Still though, I'm trying to shy away from the overcomplicatedness (at least with this one) that modern trance has evolved into.

More focus on the melodies and such.

Anyway, should have a more fleshed out version soon
