| quote: | | The other major instrumental feature of both 'Toca Me' and 'Toca's Miracle' is a distinctive guitar sample, again treated with delay: "The guitar sample is from a soundcard from a PC. I produced a song for two boys, and when they'd done the first version, the original demo version, they did it on a PC with a soundcard. It was a cheap soundcard, I don't know which one, but the sound was so unique I sampled it. I tried other sounds from the Roland JV2080 and other modules, but they were not so distinctive." |

I've also read that the Korg Wavestation has a preset called "Thick Pick" that closely resembles it, but can't vouch for it. If you have the Legacy collection (or can find someone else who does), just send them the MIDI file and see how well it works.

Yes Cryo, I've found this article too and opened the sound here, it's pretty close, very good patch, but the original still sounds better, is like less room for more impact.
The producer said: The other major instrumental feature of both 'Toca Me' and 'Toca's Miracle' is a distinctive guitar sample, again treated with delay: "The guitar sample is from a soundcard from a PC. So, for those who thinks it's from Roland, it's not from Roland... Roland has some great plucks too, but not so distinct like that.
Well, I've sampled from the first Toca Me version like Aquila suggested.
Thanks guys
