Hey guys sorry if this is a retarded question or has been posted before but I'm not sure what words I would use to search for what I am looking for.


Basically I would like to be able to record a sound while tweaking a knob.

IE: Adjusting the wet/dry or tone or depth of an instrument while it's playing. I'm using Logic if it matters.

I don't use Logic, but that sounds like something that should be covered in the manual.

What do you use and how do you do what I'm talking about?


Also if it's in the manual (which I haven't read) what is the word to describe what I'm talking about?
