been using it for video editing as you can do most things like sonys vegas ect. youtube has some good tutorials to and being compleatly free you cant go wrong matey boy.

I have actually used Blender quite a bit and, coincidentally, discovered it while I was unemployed. I've only used it for a fraction of what it's capable of but you can do some pretty cool stuff with it.

No. It's just a mouse and the hotkeys, in Blender. It's actually an incredibly intuitive program but it's also incredibly vast. When I first got it I was doing really basic stuff, like spheres and colors and lighting.



I'm still a total newb with it and have no idea how to engage the physics engine, let alone do rigging for human/animal forms. In the time it took me to do the picture, above, a few years ago, I did this, below, about two months ago - a couple of hours.

already got it installed, but haven't used it yet. awesome that it comes for linux too. if the WIN/Linux performance difference is anything like Audacity* it's gonna be fast on this little laptop
