Depends what's on 'em!
If it's just dust then a, er, duster or dry cloth is better. If you've managed to drop a kebab on them, then yeah a damp cloth should do the trick but obviously avoid getting water inside it. The 'official' procedure is probably to switch it off at the mains and leave it to dry properly afterwards before turning it back on again.
