My first time at the club and I can say only one thing...and that is that all the talk lived up to its expectation....the sound system is incredible and lazers are top notch....

The club atmosphere not bad...lots of nice people and the setup with the Dj booth is great as well...


Highlight of the night for me was when Gielen dropped
Gouryella - Ligaya

I don't think that the sound system could have complimented that track any better...it was absolutelly incredible

Other memorable mentions

Intro - Solar Stone - seven cities [ armin mix ]
rank 1 - awakaning [ cosmic gate ]
l'esperanza....really nice
some others just cant remmember right now

The opening Dj was great also...played a lot of tracks that had a break beat in them and although the set was pretty hard I enjoyed it

Did meet 2 individuals who deserve a mention:

1) the dude with the black Tank Top who took me and the 2 girls I was with outside and hung with us for a portion of the night [ you know who you are : you said you live 5 minutes away ]

2) Then I saw my friend chatting it up with Swamps so I got to talk to him [ Swamps Im the guy who was with Kathy and my girlfriend ]
It was nice to finally meet you

all in all I had a great time....wish I could have danced more lively but I had my ankle operated on about 4 weeks ago so I had to take it easy....

I left just after 5 when Gielen took off, would like to know what the rest of the night was like for future reference

Gielen fuckin ROCKED last night or should i say..earlier today

was a craaazy night.....

only upsettin thing was that i had to have my bacardi silver in a plastic cup....i couldnt take thebottle ...oh well..minor detail

there were so many good points in the set.....geez..hard to pic a best.....

swamper...remember i asked u the name of one track???? if u know the n ame...please let me know

the chillout after we left the club at tim hortons was fun too

heh club in the middle of nowhere or more like Asian posh land.. trance in the middle of everywhere :]

i dunno what else to say.. the set was practically perfect.. Gielen handing out those autograph cards to us TA's was just icing on the cake! u guys know who u are !!

the club.. formidable sound and lighting system. nothing else tops it outside of Guv..

vibe.. incredible especially with all you TA's that showed up in full force with me! and of course meeting Swamps as usual..
and sorry for all the peeps that went outside for the 1AM meet.. that area was kinda hard to find for everyone, but most of us did meet at the pre-hitup at Country Style before goin it ..

for those of you who weren't there.. check out the liveset Swamp is gonna post as well as the videos and don't say we didn't tell ya so!!

Well all in all i had a amazing night. lots of room to dance. music was absouloutely amazing. Loved the lightworks and i am glad i met up with the remaining TAs. We should do it more often.

One more thing.. i would like to give a shout to swamper who met me and the remaining gang on the dance floor.

omg. and Awakening, and Madagascar, funny, armin opened up with seven cities too, and I heard madagascar from ferry, armin and gielen, seems like a favorite song to drop. Hehe.

Anyways, I must say, I don't see what people are ragging on Viva about. Great club. Sharp sound, killer lighting. Cool snow machine. Couldn't even tell that it was all-ages. Didn't feel threatened at all. And not over-packed like Guv. Although it was extremely hot at times.

Funny thing was the little car accident outside the club. BMW and Acura SUV. LOL! You know you're in markham when there's Great Cars and Shit Drivers.

Crazy beat juggling with Twisted. Something for me to try at home. Fresh stuff, after hearing the usual intro beat over outro beat mixing of other dj's. Its good to see the Dj do more than just beatmatch. Although he did kill the flange effect hehe.

So, to summerize, I had fun; thumbs up, Johan.
