Any recommendations for a sample pack containing some good clean crash cymbals for EDM? My ratio of unusable:good crashes is way out of whack, and I'm sick of flipping through dozens of worthless samples to find one decent one. I'm specifically looking for samples without effects slathered all over them. It can be a dedicated crash sample pack, or a full sample pack with other sample types, just as long as it contains dozens of good samples in moderate-long tail lengths (i.e., not looking for splashes, short crashes, etc.).

really prefer old school dry crashes from drum machines. Alchemy has a library with most machines or just get mega dance drums 1. It is more than a decade old but it has everything,.
honestly i don't even think you can buy it anymore. Torrent sites seem to be the only place. But this was kinda the CD that every single other library is kinda taking its material. Well not every but alot. Came out around 1995 ish i believe.
rather limiting. I mean that pack just feature the K series which has a particular timbre. One cymbal company, Not to mention most of the sounds will be hihats and ride as that is where ma player will get the most range of sound. So you are going to get a basically 15" - 22: crash samples, at 3 velocities, and maybe 2 splash cymbals and a china crash.
And they are real cymbals which sound weird over synthetic material. Dance Mega Drums 1 and 2 , honestly, if they don't sell it anymore, i believe it was BigFishAudio that used to distribute it, then just download it. But that has more than enough.
the only thing other people have added is like, drum machines on tape. Those 2 libraries are must haves.

no they aren't on tape. I meant like all these new librairies, same old but with like new buzz words to sell ie same shit but on tape. This stuff is just what it is. No frills.
I'm going to check all of these out, and probably just create a favorites folder for the good ones I already have as I find them and call it good. Thanks for the input, guys!
