Since when did this guy change his style so much? Has he completely abandoned his old sound? I counted 3 or 4 deadmau5 tracks in total. He came a long way from the cruise with Eco last year.

Last night I actually looked up 3 of his recent track lists to see if he's worth it since he's in the EZoo Group Therapy line-up & I'm still weighing if I should go or not. I was slightly aware that the dude has changed the style in his sets recently but his recent track lists definitely confirmed that. I'm a big fan of his early productions but his last few tracks, that put a ring on it, yo yo ma bullshit stuff-definitely some ugly sounding music, and def don't care for his new live sets now either.
Seems his new style is popular with pple though? He's got tour dates all over the place in 2012 compared to other Anjunabeats artists.

Like I stated before, he has his set pre-planned. You can see the paper in the Group Therapy vid and saw it as well on stage at another show...

it's a real shame that the same talent that produced this:
has totally given up the craft. nothing new though, just wasn't aware he was a part of it.

i could have sworn like maybe a month or 2 ago he did a rant on either fb or twitter saying how trance was dying and he was gonna sit home and start to make trance again
maybe he was just on a cocaine bindge who knows

Meh.. it is not a shame. he didn't do a lot of good tracks. maybe he just doesn't have it in him to create new fresh sounds.

He was def one of my favs for a very short period of time. Key word being "was". That's part of the reason why I never say anyone is my favorite anymore. It usually results in disappointment.
Yeah when I seem him at Group Therapy in Miami I just stayed at the drink area the whole time, was terrible. He used to have some good stuff too, like most of the Anjuna people these days unfortunately. I didn't even waste my time with the Group Therapy stage at EDC, the entire sound is just so played out and boring these days.

i wish you guys could've seen the look on a certain Anjuna employee's face when during WMC i asked what was next after they finished milking Group Therapy and how much longer till the next artist album.
