Jester I just heard the funniest thing on the radio...

LMAO! I was driving home tonight and I decided I'd take a listen to what was on the radio.I was searching for some "dance music and I came to ths one station that was playing some...so I decided to leave it there and listen for awhile.

There was some cheesy eurotrance song on at first then "Where's Your Head At" and then this DJ started with some crazy shit (here's the funny part)...he was mixing out of Where's Your Head At and I heard "Fine Day" mixing in, not exactly a good song to mix into after Basement Jaxx but hell Fine Day is a good tune. Anyway, I soon noticed that this DJ was playing TWO songs at once over "Fine Day" there was like a breaks track and some house track playing and Fine Day going in the background, it sounded SO TERRIBLE. It's things like this were you just want to find the DJ and punch him in the face.

To tell you the truth, I don't really know. It was such mangled shit I could barely stand to listen I was laughing so hard. It actually started to drive me insane and I tuned out...once I tuned back in the DJ was playing some hardstyle. He was a very confused person IMO.

Completely off-topic...

Sorry for being so pedantic, but to hopefully correct the lyrics in the above sig, here goes: (taken from www.trance.nu)
--------------------------------------------------
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiësto Remix)
------------------------------------------------
Piece by piece I release, once was mine, Now I'm torn. Turn blue, light blue, or leave and then dawn light, Southern Sun.

I still feel you, beneath myself, I'm tempted to throw myself to sea. Cause it's easier to fly, than to face another life southern sun and your love is all around.

Piece by piece I release, once was mine, Now I'm torn. Turn blue, light blue, or leave and then dawn light, Southern Sun.

I still feel you, beneath myself, I'm tempted to throw myself to sea. Cause it's easier to fly, than to face another life, southern sun and your love is all around. In the end to set me free.

You last like a song I'm deflated, I am pieces on the wind unrelated.

I still feel you, beneath myself, I'm tempted to throw myself to sea. Cause it's easier to fly, than to face another life, southern sun and your love is all around. In the end to set me free. Cause it's easier to fly, In the end to set me free.

Cause it's easier to fly, In the end to set me free.

(I'm still not *totally* convinced that even these are 100% accurate, but it's pretty close).

Thats a great story...ya the other day i heard some other funy stuff. On the local pop radio station on friday nights the play some "club" music...usually not too bad. I happened to tune in when he was mixing from a dance mix of Shakira's Underneath Ur Clothes to Darude's Sandtorm. It was great....he had em playing @ the same time and it was funny w/ the vocals....

Reminds me of a school dance I went to *ugh* where it was supposed to be a "rave" type event, but because it was a dance they had to mix in stuff to please everybody... Anybody heard Airscape-L'esperanza mixed into Backstreet boys- How did I fall in love with you???
