It could be very well (prozac or illegal) drug related, but I also have it when I went skiing for a day. In my bed it feels like I'm still skiing.

Maybe it has got to do with the fact that weed weakens muscles. But off course, after a day of skiing you lost a lot of energy (low sugar levels)

Anyway, eat and sleep well! That's so important!

Weed is actually one of the best medicines this world knows

It works for

-people with eating problems
-people who have trouble sleeping
-MS patients
-Lung diseases (off course the weed is vaporized)

Prozac then again is a legal form of XTC.

To the extent that pot smoking causes "the munchies," it will increase blood sugar levels and may have a significant role in causing and/or worsening Type II diabetes as well as increasing your hyperglycemia, so be careful.

As far as pot and Parkinson's, there's no pathology that links one to the other.

Also, try looking to the 3 brain drugs: dopamine, seratonin and i think tryptomine

When marijuana or cocaine or extasy is injected or smoked etc, the pleasure drug in the brain (seratonin) will rise creating a sense of increased pleasure. When you are not using drugs, dopamine levels are then low and it may feel like you need more weed to feel high. Therefore, your brain will rely on an external source of dopamine (weed), therefore your brain wont produce enough dopamine since you are already getting it from an external source. (does this make sense). The take home message here is that once your brain depends on dopamine, low levels of this drug are naturally produced by the brain. The relation is that Parkinson's disease is directly caused by a lack of dopamine in your system.

Prozacc and weed together??hmmm, since prozacc targets levels of either (serotonin or dopamine) thats almost like a double negative affect on your body.

what you appear to be suffering from is myoclonus (clonic spasm or twitching of a muscle or group of muscles)

This is actually a well known side effect of prozac (please call it fluoxetine - it pisses of the drug companies). I don't know much about weed but i assume it exacerbates the problem.

Drug causes of parkinson do not include SSRIs (eg fluoxetine) but i have no idea about weed. did you know that tobacco smoking is protective for parkinson's disease.

When you have too much insulin you become hypo rather than hyperglycemic. changes in glucose levels usually don't cause too many symptoms unless it is at the extreme ends of the spectrum. if you are worried about glucose levels get a glucose tolerance test.

One more thing.

The shaking may infact be due to pot smoking, but it's not Parkinson's related. Pot causes your blood vessels to expand. So if your smoking pot, your blood vessels dialate and your body gives off alot of heat. Once the effects of pot wear off, your body notices that its below its optimal temerature range and starts to compensate for this by shivering/shaking.

Thanks again guys, I am seeing a doctor tomorrow and hopefully he can have answers. I just hope I dont have to go for any blood tests or anything

The doctor has no use in testing your blood for drugs, only for possible diseases

And don't forget: doctors are not allowed to tell anyone about your medical status

Doctors wont report you for taking drugs or whatever, but if you ever get caught by the police on something big like manufacturing or exporting, then they will prob get your med records.
