Hi guys, this is a track that i been working on (on the side)
housey, far from electro or dub step, straight forward nice melody
one good break , what you think
Edit:
Updated with taking the feedback into account
the hats level, the 2nd term/break replaced
trying to keep the flow of the track
Love to get your input on this
I really like where you going with this track man and looks like you are not that far from finishing it lol - just few things to consider from my perspective (and please ignore this if you don't agree with me lol) --> a bit more bass volume will help overall dynamics of this track, I also notice some artificial effect/noise with your kick (you should hear this the best around 0:24) and the last thing is this chord/melodic changes at 3:51 are to radical or to quick, you should prep this a bit longer or make some crafty and logically drop to switch those chords - just my $0.02
Cheers,
Darek

Thanks for the reply Derek, no i get what you saying
there is this percussion that seems to get out of hand which causing distortion sounds @ 0:24 which can be handled
Regarding the Bass volume, I'm struggling with the kick volume
I think if i lower the kick a bit it will make the overall other elements sound louder, the kick has annoying pump to it
And finally the chord, its a sudden i agree, will see what i can do
Great, the way I'm dealing with kick-bass line issues is to balance freq between them both --> I mean, to try to get your best fit kick and find the most active freq zone for it then try to limit that particular freq zone from your bass line to avoid any conflict between them - you don't have to eliminate this whole entire active area from your bass but you have to play a bit around to find the best ratio/sound for this combo.
All the best !!!
Darek

Nice work mate... really. The track as a whole sounds awesome in my opinion. It's cohesive and moving. It's emotional at the start, and slips a bit toward being more commercial friendly with that chord into near the rear. The only suggestion I have is that I'd keep it emotional, or make the end a bit more prominent in the track as a whole.

Why can't I play this song? btw if you have problems with your kicks drowning, use two kicks on top of eachother. EQ them separately, one with sligthly louder upper frequency and one with slighty louder lower frequency.
nvm its my goram browsers plugin :P I like what u did so far. but yeah u need more punchy kicks.

This is potentially a really good track.
Kick is a bit weak, but I understand what you are trying to do with the sound that you are going for. Might want a slight boost around 100 to 150 Hz, just to cater for lower quality systems so that there is a bit of kick presence.
The pad work and arp is really nice.
Might want to ease off the 10k plus range on some of the percs as it's a bit harsh.
I think the bass needs a bit love, to try and underpin the track a bit more as it feels a bit like an after thought at the moment.
Over all this track flows well and everything seems logical up to the point where you hit 4:00 minutes. I feel that section is a bit disjointed to the rest of the track, kind of kills the vibe for me a bit. Also perhaps a bit late to bring something like that in.
I might consider the structure a little too, but over all good.
Thanks for sharing and want to hear the finished track.

Agree with Nem, bit harsh on thr 10k, but LOVE the progression and it's got that nice dark side onerelease signature sound. can be a banger is you do it right
