The lineup here will never compete with DEMF. But... If Carlo, Dubfire, Nic plus more TBA are playing in my backyard that wknd, that may be the way to go. Especially since I wanna do EDC Vegas as well as Ibiza and Germany this summer |
Yeah I know the DEMF weekend including all the afterparties are definitely more stacked than the Tampa weekend. But you can only see so much music and the Tampa lineup is very high-quality...just not as extensive. My biggest hope now is they stagger the quality tech names over the course of the weekend. And I hope at least one sick party will be thrown at Jackson's. Would be bummed if they booked "EDM" there all weekend and made the tech DJs play at Martini.

After looking at that flyer again and reading some of the comments, I think it's actually just a recap of everybody that they have BROUGHT recently to Tampa. All those names have already played in Tampa in the past year and with the wording that they use on that flyer, I have to think that it's not the lineup that they are announcing for the Tampa Music Week. I looked up a lot of those DJs' touring dates and none of them currently have a Tampa booking listed and many of them are in Europe during that time period. Really doubt they'd fly out to Tampa of all place in the midst of a Netherlands/Germany/Ibiza romp through Europe, lol.
Have to think they are gonna bring some damn good DJs though, they have a good track record. With Detroit only being a short flight away, I have a feeling that they're gonna book a good number of those DJs. Which is fine by me.

Yeah thats the way I read it as well. Seems like the Moudaber show is the only that has been official, great booking btw. I'm sure there will be a couple good names announced, especially with so many already in Detroit that weekend.
