I've never use the program that you are talking about but one thing that may be the problem is the compression of the track. What I mean by this, if you have the ability to select a constant pitch while still being able to adjust the tempo, then the compression algarithm that is used will have to "delete" parts of the track in order to maintain the same pitch at a different tempo. On a turntable, the higher the tempo, the higher the pitch, and until some of the latest turntables came out, there was nothing you could do about this. With cd decks, you can adjust the tempo while maintaining the pitch. (If you don't know the difference between the two, think of pitch as how "high" the vocals sounds, versus the tempo which is how fast the beat is.) If there is a selection for maintaining the pitch, then just turn it off and there will be no problem. I had this same problem with my cd decks until I figured out that the problem was in the compression algarithm and not the cds or my recording. If you have decent monitors, you should be able to hear it live.
