Well, i haven't heard nothing of him either.. but Ingo Kunzi (DJ Tandu) IS Ayla, not just part of it.. Ralph Armand Beck (DJ Taucher) was earlier involved but left after Ayla part II. Then there was also Allen Michie (DJ Allan McLoud) who with Tandu produced Ayla - Atlantis and remixed and produced a bunch of tracks under various aliases.

And nowadays Tandu is the co-producer and mixer of Safri Duo, that's why it has some similar sounds to Ayla/DJ Tandu.

NOT TRUE! He is alive and kicking I have actually just purchased a vinyl with his new production it's called "Andy B - Imagination" it's fucking awesome! I love it! You can listen to the full tune on www.only-djs.com and order the vinyl from there as well!

Oh and BTW this tune somewhat reminds me a little of the old Ayla sounds!

Not very recent, but he did remixed DJ Encore & Engelina - I see Right Through to You (DJ Tandu Remix). I didn't like it mucho thought, it was as melodic as the original.

don't know dude! also I have a vinyl from about 10 month ago or so when he did a few remixes under the DJ Tandu alias! It's called "DJ Tatana feat. DJ Energy - Feel (The Energy Theme)" there are 2 remixes by him on there "progressive and something else rather I don't remember exactly"!
