its funny cause these types of songs are cookie cutter 2-3 minute breakdown "epic"/uplifting trance that drove me away.

the songs just feel very shallow. there's nothing interesting or unique that pulls me in. trance is supposed to do just that, it's supposed to put you in a trance.

my faith remains gone. 0.02

(e: just listened to the first song, which isnt bad. however, I checked out about 10 of the tracks at random and they were all the above)

I like Aly and Fila but id rather listen to an episode of FSOE. I want to hear tracks ive never heard before than a list that resembles a set they played a month ago.

Agree 100% While I am still a trancehead, Aly & Fila have never done it for me. Better than a lot of what passes for trance these days though.

I references a shitton of Trance a few weeks ago. Backlogged 4 months worth. out of like 4,000 tracks I reviewed, I found maybe 1 or 2 that I would even want to play.

The rest sound like ableton, logic creations with expected breakdowns at certain intervals...

WTF happened...

Hmmm I guess this mix just hit the spot for me... I don't find it as generic as all the other crap floating around.. Also there was no electro shit, so I was happy with that...

So Blurr I'm interested to hear what you will be playing since it does not sound like you will be playing trance...

Since i been away Trancelover, I been really into deep house and prog house. Artist like Dinka, Suspect44, Audien, Andrew Bayer, and Jody Wisternoff have really sparked my interest.

My entire set tomorrow at Ruby will range from 120-128. Ending with a new remix of a track of London Grammar - Hey Now.


Dont get me wrong tho, N20, Daniel Kandi, Aly & Fila and Signum still rank amongst my top trance producers and Djs, there just has not been many good tracks out since 2010 IMO.
