btw... does anyone know where paul henderson lives?? i worked for a lawn company this year and i serviced a house belonging to a paul henderson in brampton.. i always wondered if it was THAT paul henderson, =P.

The difference between the Summit Series 1972 and Salt Lake 2002 is the fact that every Canadian wasn't glued to the tv set for Salt Lake.
1972 was a matter of national pride. Now it does not appear to be so.

i might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure the salt lake finals drew the highest ratings EVER in cbc history... i dunno bout you, but i WAS glued to the tv... of course, i wasn't alive in '72, haha..

hehehe..... I can give you the biggest argument about how Canada lost in Russia on more than a couple of occasions with 7 game series yet you don't see me post pics of Canada's loss? do you? I mean it's cool and I love the Canadian hockey team, but you got to give props to the Russians. And the ignorance of some of the hockey staff on the Canadian team, when he gave the finger to the crowd in Russia. That should be the greatest shamefull thing a Canadian did 30 years ago in the sports history.
