Its the most annoying genre of music out there! it should burn in fucking hell, for years I have been reading DJ magazine and the people who represent the garage scene seem to do nothing but slag off Trance and Hard House at any given opportunity, they should maybe fucking sit and listen to some trance and listen to what quality music is, instead of their commercialised shite which pollutes the fucking british radio waves, and the adverts Twice as Nice, Dj Luck and Mc Neat what a group of wankers why don't they just fuck off to Ayia Napa and never come back!

YEAHHHH. I agree mostly with what you're saying - definitely it's so commercialised that people will listen to shit and say it's good.

I think for a lot of people Garage is an image thing, so the only arguments they can put forward is that other genres are crap.

Yeah its all about who's got the best girl, the most expensive clothes, the best bottle of champagne, and the cheesy music. Another point they really fucked up a good track trying to mix the prodigys 'your no good me' they fucking ruined a rave classic, I'm suprised that there was no uproar about that, but as usual dickheads who want the money pocket in and ruin things. but as you said garage is an image thing and the money is what matters.

couldnt agree more - garage fucking pisses me off so much and I am surrounded by it! im in London ffs. everytime I walk around in the street is some guy with garage music blaring out - it's like I am the only person into trance music in London - I've only ever heard people in a car playing trance twice before around the london area I am in.

Thank feck to hear you guys saying that. Garage is the biggest load of pish EVER to hit the airwaves (apart from Country and Western - and that ain't sayin' much).
It is sad when you see discussion forums set up specifically to slag off Trance. I saw one called "we hate trance" and all it involved was a group of pricks who couldn't discuss the merits of their own music cos it is so shallow and PISH, so they slag off other music.
When a style of music begins to feature in TOTPs week in, week out, and daytime DJs cream themselves over them, then, if you didn't know it was SHITE already, you would certainly know by then.
That's if your head isn't stuck that far up you own ARSE!!!

I forgot, Ayia Napa is a big lump of SHITE as well

I live in the the Midlands and its Half Trance, Half Garage, Its fucking awful when some prick talks like an MC and pretends their from Brixton, by buying the clothes and getting a done up beamer, It really fucking pisses me off because their just Middle class shiters who think their something good! And I know some people who have lived in Brixton and all the time they say that them ******s prentending to be southern Londoners would get their ass's kicked! And I thought the House scene was bad with poofs! and elitist ******s who think your scum because your not wearing Gucci clothes! garage is the spawn of Satan its so fucking stupid! Have you ever been to a garage club? Its PISH! Too many posers who can't even hear the PISH music 'cos they're too busy thinking how good they look when they actually look like PISH!
I had the misfortune of being taken to one by misguided friends still finding their feet with music - they didn't stay with Garage long 'cos they knew it was PISH! Needless to say, I soon had them back on the Trance track 'cos garage is PISH!
Glad I cleared my feelings up on that....

Good to see that I'm not alone thats the best thing! I know a few people who hate but not as much as I do but maybe I'm wrong because u guys seem to hate it just as much as me which is good!

Well said Tu face, I've got an awful feeling though that Garage will kick back in again in the summer! A few months ago Casino was held in my hometown and thank fuck its moved back to Milton Keynes! Now instead we get Godskitchen and Ultra Vegas at the club where it was held even though vegas and Casino are owned by the same company. But I'll just sit down and cross my fingers that garage dosen't become the sound of summer, because if it doe's again I'll be pissed off to the max
