For fear of flying just think of it this way... You are in an aircraft designed by some of the most intelligent people in the world, tested for thousands of hours, built by tradesmen who are qualified, and flown by people with years and years of experience who are helped along the way by people on the ground who are highly trained professionals. If you were to die on a flight it'd be a huge fluke, the same as being struck by lightning. You still go outside though right, even on a cloudy day? You haven't died yet and the chance of you dying on this flight are just as much as if you went outside the airport for the same amount of time and getting struck with a bolt out of the blue.
Also if something bad did happen you'd die quickly and most likely painlessly from a combination of panic-shock, lack of oxygen, and then extremely quick blunt force trauma that'd most likely make you unrecognizable in a matter of microseconds.
