Damn man, have some respect for Milk Inc.
But seriously, as much as you can try, dont bother trying to educate people about good music. I've tried many a time without success. Everyone has a right to listen to what they want. If they like commercial cheese, let them like it. As long as they dont go saying Milk Inc and DJ Sammy are pioneers in trance or any shit like that... let them be

yeah i know what you mean,
the worst is when you have rock Vs electronic parties
I had one time, when I changed the music (after asking the party holder) and it got changed five minutes later to rock dribbe, I went back to find the cd hidden underneath a mountain of cd cases, just asking to be scratched...
that kinda behaviour is just rude and uncalled for.

I guess it's because you were at a party were half of the people that were there you didn't know. I was at a pissup on saturday night with my friends. About 30 of us i new them all so i was allowed to play my music and i didn't mind when my friend put Pantera on. Everybody enjoyed the music ragardless of what kind it was.

Just wait till you host a party
Then you can put on whatever you want. Otherwise just accept that there actually are other types of music people like and don't worry about it. I've given up asking if I can put a cd on at friend's houses hehe.
Yeh i guess, and i thought they didn't like my mix especially the songs...
They even went through KLEA - Tic Toc and Thrillseekers - Dreaming Of You and they still changed it.
BUT i do like Milk Inc...but seriously as you say, they are not pioneers of trance, they are experts in the cheese industry.
This party was a RNB freak party...i hate it when most of your friends like RNB...
Out of our whole year 12 year of 120 students, i guess there is only 3 people that like trance...the rest like RNB and Rock.

Milk Inc is ok .. yes they are experts in cheese, but come on .. i'm sure most of us got started on trance through cheese!
i seriously doubt most people go straight to MIKE, Dumonde, Sasha or Above & Beyond .. it's a taste that needs refining...
i got into trance a couple of years ago through stuff like milk inc, darude, ATB and fragma .. i'm sure a lot of u were the same
today's new generation of tranceaddicts will be spawned by DJ Sammy, Dee-Dee and drunkenmonkey...
and besides --- In My Eyes is a cool track

Of course webmeister, i like Milk Inc but the fact is that back in the days when we were being introduced trance, that there was no TRANCE like today standards.
I tell you if i had heard Southern Sun as my first ever trance track i would have fainted...seriously.
Milk Inc is trance, but the fact that trance is widespread doesn't mean it doesn't get noticed.
Yes vocal trance (Cheese to many) is on the radio the most but still that doesn't mean people at parties who are RNB or Rock freaks haven't heard them..
If thats hard to understand, sorry but i guess you know what im talking about that its doesn't matter what type of trance it is...Trance is trance, Trance is beautiful and it should never be forgotten.

Annoying is when you spend ages preparing a cd. It was absolutely perfect. I gave it to a mate as a present at his party, he puts it on and leaves it on random. Now that was fucking annoying.

Tip for when u host a party... Keep the music source out of sight... Then ppl don't have a choice or the temptation... It worked for me at my b'day... and ppl actually danced... woooo hoooooooo
