Not to mention that these kinds of cases are intrinsically coercive, because the abuse of power is centered around an authority figure that holds the threat of some commodity over the victim, whether it be a passing grade, immigration status, a traffic ticket, etc.
The sexual dynamics we're all aware of simply ought not factor into these kinds of cases. Of course we can imagine some horny teen boy would be totally into it, so it's difficult for some people to recognize what moral scruples are possibly at issue. But the victim is not on trial here. No, it's not 'jump out of the bushes and assault someone' rape, but the majority of rapes occur between two people who know one another, and often after a deliberate isolation or assertion of authority by the assailant. There's simply no reason to assume this case is any different at this point.
