Hey d00d nice to see your first shot... sample is being DLed ATM...

Done, let's open winamp now:

OKs, so the melody, is pretty harmonicalish
But it lacks, well, I call it focus... Like, a direction, which IMO means this melody could either fit a chill track, a breakbeat track, or have this melody as the "Secondary" melody or a background melody of an uplifting choon!

Good luck!

Thanks for the comment oded

I think that my purpose is to create an uplifting tune
So the idea of making this melody a secondary melody works for me

But, what do u think I should add to the melody in order for it to be in focus?? Harder synths maybe??

Good comment thanks for that

More comments are welcome

Well, you can either make this a less loud or lower melody, or you can go Rising Star style and have a harsh string/ synth along with, having the classical stings on a volume ratio of about 35-65 with the "Sharper" synth...

Hope this isn't sounding too gibrish

Doesnt sound gibrish at all
You are right about the rising star style, i will try to listen to some more stuff by armin to get some inspiration
i think the sound in Vincent De Moor - Shamu (armin vab buuren's rising star mix) will be just right.
ill try to low the synths a bit... and add the strings
so that the strings will lead the melody, and the synth will be at the backround

No idea how im gonna do that tho...

Thanks for the advice man, i really appreciate that!
