What's in a song...
OK, i know i'm gonna be stretchin' a bit here but I hope you guys know what I'm trying to get at.
You know with certain artists, they have a unique or distinctive quality within all or most of their tunes.
For example, M.I.K.E productions have that helicopter kinda feel (there's probably a technical term but I'm not gonna even try) or Dumonde has that thumping hollow bass or just simply PPK's annoying Roland keyboard effects.
What I wanna know is which special characteristic of an artist do you enjoy the most? I mean when you hear the song you go "that's gotta be a something something tune and I love it."
Personally, I love the Gouryella basslines and are probably the easiest to identify when being mixed in. Get the pic?
You can get as technical as you want, I just wanna know if we only listen to a song or do we actually absorb it. I'm actually quite serious, so don't be putting ATB unless you mean it - Not that there's anything wrong with that.
P.S. Hey Ves, what special quality do you like in a man... uhh, I mean song.
