lol...sounds like prestige is really a numark sales-man.
i dont think djs really need all the extra gadgets on them anyway.
an experianced dj wouldn't use display....like the beat lights on a mixer. an experianced dj wont need them.
if an experianced dj used ttx1s, he or she wouldnt use the display, because all an experianced dj should rely on is his/her ears.
if a newbie dj starts with a pair of these, it is most likely that they will become dependant...and therefore screw themselves over if they have to play somewhere that doesnt have some kinda beat counter.

ok ok ok....jeez.
by tha way u put it....it looks exactly like the description on websites sellin it...
im not saying that experienced (i spelled it right this time) can't use the display...its just that the display can take care of many of the fundamentals of djing. like what djjade said...
| quote: | | i know if i would want them becuase either 1) i dont need them [the 20 or whatever % pitch adjust] or 2) i dont want them becuse it takes the challenge [having a digital pitch reader so you can keep the pitch while speading up a record would undermine the skill needed for track selection]. |
its fine if djs use something like the ttx1....but they shouldnt become reliant of all those extra gizmos.

There is no way to prove this. Only time will tell if the TTX1's are as long lasting as Technics.
