That's too bad that the Mez is closing. Very cool spot when I've attended parties long ago. Any reason for the closing?

Ah yes! Sounds like the initial plans for Club Circus here in LA. I remember the owner wanting to sell the land for some huge apartment complex. Hollywood is filled with a bunch of new complexes. It's crazy!

I drive past it every day. My missus when just yesterday "there was Circus". It's like this 10 story apartment building in the works now, with another about 5 story going up right next door to it.

Sad to think it was home to so many clubbers over the years and now it'll just be more luxury apartments.
