Friday 206
Resurfacing after a little break. Nothing much new going on, just work and trying to keep teenagers alive until they are legal adults and can fend for themselves. On the good news front, the wife is now at 9 months post-chemo/radiation with clean CT and PET scans. She had her chemo port removed last Friday and is recovering well from that procedure. I hope she never needs one again. I need to start the mowing season this weekend, but I dread it. Once you mow that damned 2 acre beast, you're committed to weekly mowing for the remainder of the season. Hope you are all well, my fellow COR wh00r3s.

Very nice. I'm going to court for a double parking ticket next week, I might go see John Dimas.
In a brutal thicket of triathlon training and it's going to get no easier. I have been reshaping my leg muscles entirely the last few months, my run pace is dropping and my bike power is increasing. I have a half marathon at the end of the month so I'm amping up the pavement pounding.
Also starting the process of redoing our kitchen after the whole dishwasher explosion thing. I really felt like an old bastard walking through picking out granite patterns and matching tiles with my wife.

Sheeeeiiit fuck that I'm paying a guy we know to lay the tile. I have far too little faith in my own abilities to attempt it alone or even only with family. Our work will extend to removing and painting the cabinets, painting the walls, and resetting the cabinets.
No major plans this weekend. Just got home from our second doctor visit this week. Allergic reaction to the antibiotics our babe is (was) on for another (or never completely treated) ear infection. Holy fuck it seriously does not end!

That's the truth. My brother and his wife, since the birth of their first, have been stuck in a never-ending Groundhog Day type loop of illness after illness. Once they and their boy are done, I think the CDC should take a sample of white blood cells from them, give them to the "mad" Chinese CRISPR guy, and introduce some herd immunity.

Getting double billed this month for my tenancy overlap, so I'm conserving as much money as possible until Easter weekend when Sasha and Digweed come to town.

Bro, can you take a selfie of you lighting Sasha's cigarette? I have an idea for a meme, which I THINK we can monetize....

I keep saying that, between my hospital germs and her daycare germs, at least we'll be ready for the Zombie apocalypse.

Unless it's the "Fast Zombies" (TM). Only Brad Pitt can help with those.
