Don't judge a book by its cover they say, but seeing as there's a few pages to be looked at: that listing of records seems decidedly random, unless there's another 'B' section elsewhere in the book (Brainchild - Synfonica but not Symmetry?).
A "near-complete" list of "essential trance releases" makes no sense whatsoever. If you want to give a list of what you consider essential (as opposed to an actual complete overview) you might as well give your full list... Bad blurb.
That page mentioning "Matthew Dekay, Rank 1 and Sander Kleinenberg" might as well be typical. SK is probably dragged into the trance zone because they tried to make My Lexicon a commercial success at the turn of the millennium. Matthew Kerkhoff (Dekay) strictly speaking should only belong here if the book actually discusses his early stuff, before he became "Dekay" (e.g. as co-producer of Richard Durand before he became Durand and of others). I wonder if any attention will be paid to that - basically all the Dutch trance that didn't get airtime through the sets of Armin, Ferry and Tijs and their mix CDs. Discussing merely the famous names isn't going to give a balanced picture of anything.
(In other words: I expect a proper discussion of the work of Michiel van der Kuy, Vincent de Moor, Jack Molenschot, Ralph Barendse, Michel Pollen, Marco V and Benjamin Kuyten, Cor Sangers, Quint Bleijenberg, Mustafa Alici, Richard van Dongen, Nic Vegter, Georgio Schultz, Ferruccio Tebaldi, Marcel Hol, Gert-Jan Bel and all the others alongside and before them or I'm not interested. )
Re: the last image: what seems missing is a footnote saying "taken directly from Discogs" (the aliases, groups part).

I suppose perhaps the book is aimed at least in part at the kind of people who would normally only read a football player's biography. Normal-sized type might no longer be appropriate.
