ok....
most of you ppl probably know that Pioneer has this new CD player called the CDJ-800s.... I was just wondering how good it is compared to the CDJ-1000.....
any opinions?

I like the 1000's. Easy to use and fun as hell to play with. But that's just me, other people might have a different approach

800 is basically the 1000 without the random crap, and its in silver with some nice new effects, i suggest u go and try them both b4 u buy...

I can only dream of a budget big enough for CDJ-1000 of CDJ-800s....
I was just surfing around, checking out new equipment, and I saw the CDJ800s and I was like .......
so I was just interested in knowing what it's like.......
I hope I'm not too much trouble......

Check out this comparison chart on all the Pioneer CDJs
CDJ-800 is missing some valuable tempo ranges. CDJ-1000 can do .02% changes in pitch. CDJ-800 can do .05%.
CDJ-800 is also missing CD wave text which displays the names of tracks on a CD. I think that extremely useful.

i agree with the post above me. CDJ1000's are way expensive, and it's a CD! yuck!

CDJ-1000 over 800.. wave reader is useful, so is the SD memory card slot and the higher-accuracy in pitch control. Plus i prefer black, goes nice with my 1210s
