i dont really know you that well nor have i had a serious relationship ever in my life, but i still hope you get through this. It sounds like you cared about this girl alot, and it must be painful for you.. Just try to remember the good times you had. I have had something similar to this happen to me before.. but i wont go into detail as you dont need to hear my problems.

what helped me is letting the feelings out. dont bottle them up or you'll never get rid of them. since my time on the board, you have seemed to be a very nice person, and i hope you get through this. i also feel bad because i do have a minor connection to you as you know. (what a coincidence again :P)

really crappy advice i know, but i still hope for the best for you.

Em, you'll get through it man. I say you just keep busy and then think about the good times you've had and not the bad or why it happened etc. Don't focus on anything negative. A good way to get over it is get your mind OFF of it. If you need help doing that you know where I am.

Desidel, I'm sorry to hear what you are going through.
I really hope that the time off you are going to take will
help you get back on track. I totally understand how you feel
but it is good that you will take time to think and get some
things back the way they were b4.

I guess that like you said you only got yourself to blame for
this is not totally true, when two persons are in a relationship
and both of them want to make it work they both can, although
there is the fact that when one of them doesn't want to there's nothing the other one can do because I totally believe in giving
100-100 both, I know most people say 50-50 but when you really love someone you give 100% and if you both do it then things will work
as long as you both keep working together.
For now this will at least help you get some things in order
and maybe make you a better person.
Happy holidays and try to remember all the good times instead of the bad, always look at the good of situations and you'll see how that helps make it all better.

more TA heartbreak. when i met you at viva, you had a massive amount of energy, and i got a great vibe just being around you. someone really nice and upbeat. life is always full of valleys, but you need to try and fly above it. as endlesswave said, focus on the positive. time is a healer, so give it some time.

i feel like i'm just rehashing what i posted when this happened to ilyia, and i feel bad cuz i'm too good at advice like this. but just know that things will get better, and we are all here for you. the whole TA massive gives you support.

Hey Desidel, I haven't got a chance to meet you yet but you seem like a swell guy to hang around. Keep cool, life's way too short to feel down. I can somewhat relate to you, I've been in the best relationship of my life for 4 1/2 years. Everything was awesome but i had to fuk it up somehow. At the time I was concerned about commitment (you would think after 4 1/2 yrs ) anyways I broke it off with her and I've been kicking myself ever since. I miss her deeply and not a day passes that I don't think about her (and this has been after 4 yrs that we've broke up ). I know that I will never find another relationship as perfect as the one I've lost Now everytime I find a girl, I always compare her to my first love.

I'm pissed because I invested almost 5 yrs into that relationship and everything was better than I could ever hope for and I lost it now, all because I was such a jerk to the sweetest girl I could ever meet. But I see life as a learning experience and things will look up again.

Take some time to straighten things out, you have to do what you have to do. I don't know what the circumstances involved in your breakup, but remember if a girl doesn't want to be with you then there's no point mauling over it. Love is a two way street.

Lately I've been meeting a few people that are completely awesome. I've been feeling very euphoric lately cuz when I least expect it, things work out so well. It's funny how the world works. This all reminds me how great the world is and how grateful I am to be alive.

well Em...u know when stuff like this happens, usually its for the best, its something that doesnt happen by chance and is all pre planned in ur life....i cant say i know how u feel cos ive never had a g/f before so im not gonna say taht..all i can say is....do something now that will take ur mind off as chris said...meet new people, get involved in some hobby etc....u should be fine soon..i know u can overcome this minor stage of ur life...
