i have no luck finding the vinyls i want, i've been to many stores and sites looking for some pretty popular vinyls (which is i'm sure why all the sites say "out of stock" for the past quite a while)
i've been searching for vinyls like
Marc Aurel - Running (dumonde remix)
Strange World - Push (2000 Remake)
Space Brothers - Everywhere I Go (pvd rework preferably)
and many of the vinyls PVD spun on his Rosenmontags set (i love that set)
do i have any hope of finding them? any advice other than to just keep checking the sites?
If you are really keen about the everywhere I go vinyl it was at my local shop a week ago. I can check tomorrow when I head down if its the pvd mix. then send it to you.
sure everyone likes to have certain tunes in their record bags
but whenever i go out shopping i never really look for a certain track
actually i'm usually found sifting through unlabeled white labels
i've found tons of hidden gems in there
and it's always a track that no one has heard of, or a remix that no one knows about
and no other dj in my area has them
i suggest instead of looking for tracks that have been played out, keep your eyes and ears open to the options you can choose
a friend told me once
"when you go out record shopping, don't bother with the records you know you can pick up later at any time, always look for those certain tracks you've never heard before or most likely you will never see on the rack again."
it's all about finding those little gems that no one else is playing

I do have to agree with DJ_Shockwav. It's your job to find [good] music that nobody else has and hammer it. You play tunes that make people go "WHAT WAS THAT!" and promoters/club owners notice.

thats if you play out, if you just sit in your bedroom then get whatever.
i'd rather not be "another" pvd or whoever
i want to be me
develop my own sound
offer club owners/promoters something that 50 bajillion wannabes can't
make your sound unique
everyone wants to be a dj nowadays, differenciate yourself from everyone else
once you do that, you make yourself in demand

i'm not trying to be "another" pvd, i didnt mean i want his whole set, but there are like 5-6 vinyls off that set that i just want for myself because i want to play them for myself at home.
if i was to play at a venue or for a crowd (i dont think i'm ready for that yet) then i would definately try my best to play my own taste without biting on other dj's, this is strictly for my living room, there's a few that just blow me away that i'm dying to own
and thanks for the links on the sites i tried a handful of others and couldnt find any of them
