I put this item up for sale with the intent to sell it locally.
Perhaps if you dare spend a little time north of your border, you will see that hi-tech equipment is actually more expensive here even after the dollar conversion. When I originally purchased it, I only paid 700 US for it. Taking into account shipping, border fees and duty - unless you can find it for less than 700 US - you will not end up with this CD player, in Canada, for less than 1500. Sure it's used...for a week... but I seriously doubt there are any stores up here that will sell it for less than 1500 (the 1000's are 2200, btw) plus tax.
Although they are of place, your appraisal services are appreciated.

I would respect your opinion if I was actually trying to rip someone off, but that is not the case. However, if you still believe it is, either re-read my post, or try to buy one up here.
