and although i basically agree with YOU, I also think that u shouldnt have opened a new thread just for that. I fear that this will serve as yet another place for the usual suspects to get offensive and flame. It's a shame that just as we were all proud of the "high level" and clean atmosphere in which topics were discusses here the rate of insults and flaming has dramatically increased.

I think we should, for a certain period of time, abandon the middle-east discussions as they are the ones that seem to provoke most of the bashing (even though they're basically the one I can "identify with" the most).

What I'm trying to do is show that you can't reply with ignorant posts to return the favor on ignorant favours. That is the mere essence of our stupid struggle in real life, not only in that thread.

Why had I not slaughetered Melech_Mike ? Because he already got his warning and he knows that keeping it up means he gets banned. Why bother replying the same way to his posts and not just ask the mod to ban him, for example?

Trust me, as a left- wing Israeli, I argue with right-wing extremists much more often than you would imagine, I would not give a hint of support to his opinions.

i had enough of this, I am re-opening my thread as a new thread. I think we can debate it in a mature manner, and I don't think the thread had enough time to mature.

I blame the mod for not being able to delete two post and ruining it for the rest of us. Which should not be hard to do to simply delete two posts instead of closing a thread. In addition to those such as mike and hard trance who can not ignore their emotions inspite of reason and debate.

Now, I feel that Mike also insulted the rest of us Israelis on this forum. Even me as a right-wing hawk do not support such statements, and feel ashame for my fellow countrymen. Do not trust that all are as him. I feel therefore I must state such, even though it must be obvious and condemn his statements (oh I'm starting to feel like a politician )

I'd like to make it very clear that what was said by me in previous posts comes straight from my heart.
It was a total generalization and in no way does it mean i hate all arabs, muslims, or even the so-called 'palistinians'!

My hatred comes from living in jerusalem all of last year while going to a university there. a university that promotes diversity amongst its students. an environment friendly to anyone of any faith.
At the moment one of my best friends is an arab who i would trust my life with anyday - and yes he knows my extreme views about those who claim to be fighting for allah.
While living my year abroad i encountered things i dont wish any of you to ever see in your lives.
Could you imagine chilling with your boys at jerusalems busiest pedestrian malls listening to one of the local bands who set up on the street to entertain those walking by - all of a sudden the loudest most terrifying blast knocks the child next to you to the floor. everyone running left right and centre not knowing what to do or where to go - people trampling over each other terrified of whats going on around them. 2 homicide bombers just blew themselves up. i see my friend in the distance on the floor, shes covered in blood and i dont know what to do to help her. where is all that blood coming from, where is the wound??? "help, help", wait, thats no use.... everyones waiting for help... hundreds on bodies scattered all over the concrete. faces drenched in blood. body parts missing. a lady whispering "wheres my head" over and over. i lean over to help her and notice the back part of her head is gone. i tried everything i could to help anyone i could - unfortunatly i couldn't do much;i couldn't really do anything for them. Finally emergency units arrive at the scene, i run to get one of them to help out my friend whose lung had cullapsed due to a nail that was in the bomb. she lived while countless others died. 200 people wounded (who knows how many of them will live the rest of their lives like vegetibles).

just 11 minutes after the first 2 bombers blew their worthless lives away, a car bomb went off just a few yards away from where all the emergency vehicles parked. thank g-d no one was hurt by it. i went to the hospital the next day to visit the terror victims. so many of which wish they would have just died then and there. they cant live with the pain of nkowing that their whole family was killed in the blast, or that they wont be able to move from the neck down for the rest of their lives.

this was just one of the many incidents i witnessed throughout my year in israel. a country full of happy care free people who only wish for peace, who wish for the world to stop hating them; to stop hating the jews.

i feel like we're living back in the 1930's again, when it was okay to bash the jews. when it was okay so send us to our graves.
it seems as though the world keeps forgetting the words 'never again'! not I - for i will fight to my death if you try and wipe us out. never again will we stand by while our mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters are being bullied by a world who cant stand our enormous presence in this world. only 14 million jews (less than 1% of the worlds total population) and look what great things we've accomplished. we own the largest companies, we have such great influance and respect. we are one of the most united communities of the world and yes there is only 14 million of us... fuck, no wonder there are so many haters out there!

anyways i'd love to stay and chat but i gotta go finish my shabbat dinner.

hatred is not accepted on TA, there's no excuses. You should be sorry for your remarks. If you start hating arabs, arabs hating jews, the spiral will never end and both will suffer enormeously.

Some people here have taken pleasure to inter-change the words terrorists and muslim and arabs and vice-versa, the same for zionists and jews. Please think twice before you type.
