My Favs
Sasha/digweed both own technically and have a awesome track selection.
other good ones.
But Oakenfold has always had the best track selection.
PVD is good but not near the best but has the strongest following without a doubt.
Tiesto = Armin in my books, yet lately armin has been stepping up the notch
Nick Warren = awesome dj without a doubt.

For me L-Vee and Ferry are no where near the top as dj's, maybe as producers, but not dj's.
Digweed is probably the most technically sound dj with long mixes and hardly any flaws.
PVD is the most energetic for me. He plays lots of high energy tracks at high BPM's and makes you wanna move.
Oakenfold has always had a knack for picking a great tracklist and playing stuff that no one else is playing.
Put the best qualities of those three together and I think you'd have the ultimate dj.

Sasha and Digweed. The rest are far far behind.

I think Paul Oakenfold is the best ever. He has awesome track selection, flawless mixing, and knows his crowd. Very Professional and is very involved in the scene. He was one of the main reasons for making trance popular, especially in 99. He's not my current favorite DJ, but he is the best ever.

Either Sasha & Digweed or Armin. All of them have great track selection, and rarely make mistakes.

for the technique it's sasha I think but for the track selection it's Armin in trance and Westbam in general

no offense to the new djs armin/tiesto and soforth but they have yet to earn as much respect as the older guys, given they are good...they just dont have as much time invested in the scene as some of the older guys.

Lol...his DJing makes me puke. Tiesto is on of the least technically sound DJs in the industry.
