I'm an amateur musician based in Sydney and would much appreciate some feedback for my music.
I have direct links to the mp3 sites hosting my tunes at http://cyberfem.com - I create trance, classical, drum n' bass and a few other styles - if you have the time please leave a short review on the site, also stating that you are a tranceaddict member so I know where you came from.
I guess that big heart emoticon scared you away, eh? Like in that music video clip that has the girl with the giant heart - no one would go near her till she shrunk it.
Hmmm...
Is that more like it? Who wants some of my kung-fu? Kapow!!!

Thanks for the replies. And thanks for the comments I received via PM, Zarathustra.
Raverchikadee, my primary instrument is a Roland XP-50 keyboard workstation - I do most of my producing on its onboard sequencer.
Some of the sounds in my "State Of Mind" track come from a little virtual analogue module called a Novation Nova, but the rest, including the killer lead, are patches I've programmed on the XP-50.
I also have a Yamaha A3000 sampler which I use for beats and recording musical phrases to overcome polyphony limits.
Yeah I've been producing for a few years already but have no commercial releases yet. I'll probably wait till I have a double CD of killer tracks before I release my debut album.

Hey all, I just released a brand new bouncy trance track. It's titled Caprice and it's quite a happy uplifting number which is perfect to chill out to.
Please leave a review on the site if you're feeling up to it.
I listened to that new track, its got a good sound and melody but where are the breaks? you should include some breaks and build ups with a few effects along side it to that will make it sound great. You got something going.

Thanks for the tips, djtezz. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Breakdowns and builds are not yet my specialty but I'm working on it...
Hey all,
I hope I can persuade some of you to listen to my new track...
It won't cost anything at all to download save for a few minutes of your time - the track is called "Bliss & Beats V2" and it's a real uplifting breakbeat trance track.
I just uploaded it this morning so it should be approved and ready for download by tonight.
It's my best work so far, the melodies are really infectious.
The title again is "Bliss & Beats V2", yes there is two versions, ignore the first one as it is not as good and doesn't have breaks.
I'm going to be making a lot more of this type of breakbeat trance music. The emphasis is on syncopated rhythms and grooves and musical phrases that stick in your mind and your heart.
