It has a lot of energy. But 50% of the tracks are just dance tracks. It's not like trace where every damn song has a huge build. That's why prog is better then trance.

Then there are two answer: my brain don´t recognise the energy in the tune or i´m listening to the wrong tracks...

IMO progressive tracks give their energy through the beat and not melody as with trance. Just as it is with techno; a driving beat with 'agressive' percussion gives that energy feel to it. Listen to e.g. Lemon 8 - New York New York. It's prog but it definitely has energy in it.

...but in techno there are more energy than prog IMO...the beats is more banging and prog is slower...and when prog have melody it´s more chill out...

True. Techno has more energy and prog lacks in (trancewise) melodies. But you can never expect progressive to be as energetic as uplifting trance. Prog is a whole different thing. And you should certainly not listen to it as (energetic) trance. It definitely has energy only in another way than trance.

yeah, in prog its all about the rhythm; thats what sets the energy. And if a DJ really gets you into his set, then you're gonna dance your ass off. Eg. when i went for Sander K way back in August or Dave Seaman in October; no trance DJ has been able to match the energy following those nights. Not Marco, Armin, Corsten or Flemming...none of them matched it. During Corsten I was yawning in the first song, lol. Armin was pretty good, I was dancing a bit to his set. 00 Flemming and Marco V were the only 2 really got me pumped, but still, not as much as Sander K...my shirt was drenched in sweat from his set, lol.
