Poor Cyrus King
Hey Cyrus King!
Rather than display your ignorance and demagoguery, why don't you ask yourself, "Why did it come to this?"
And if you ask yourself this question, you'll delve deeper into the HISTORY of the Israeli-Palestinian question and discover that, in 2000, the Israelis were ready to achieve a difficult compromise, which would give the Palestinians control of their areas.
The Palestinians' response to this 2000 offer of peace?
Violence, terrorism, a new Intifada.
The Palestinians had a very real chance to secure peace and stability on their own terms. As a result of the stupidity of their leader they lost this chance. Not only that, but they started the violence (the Intifada). Please, let's not forget the recent past.

I recall in 2000, the Intifada began after Ariel Sharon with 2000 of his troops marched into a sacred holy mosque known to the Palestinians. This was an utter disrespect to their ideology, and knowing more fanatacism and death would result from this.... he nevertheless carried out this eruption of controversy.
I think i have read my history well enough,,, its you who does not look deep into the history and see what really goes on. Do you actually think after reading that article that i would say.... "you know what.. Israel is doing the right thing!Lets make them suffer even more!"

You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about Cyrus. Where the fuck did you get 2000 soldiers??? It was pretty much only the Jerusalem police department who was present, and by no means were there 2000 of them!!! Also, Ariel Sharon marched to that sacred holy site alone.
You seem to be forgetting how much significance the Temple Mount has for Jews. After all, it was a Jewish Temple before we we're invaded by Arab armies and expelled from our lands some thousands of years ago... the mosque that you’re referring to (al-Haram as-Sharif) was built on top of our sanctuary many many years later. Ever Jew has the right to visit that site... the Israeli government closed it off to non-Muslims because they do not want a repeat of the clashes that started this off.
However, I do believe it will soon be reopened to Jews and the rest of the world.
You can find the story here:
CNN - Article on Temple Mount Clashes
Also, here is some background information on where the first and second temples were located before they were destroyed by Israel’s enemies:

Great post. The 2000 peace talks with Barak and Clinton as intermediate, reiterated to the world once again who it is who really doesn't want peace. Arafat would have gotten way more than is offered now if only he was smart enough to know when to call his bloody game quits! He fucked over himself as a credible leader of the Palestinian people and fucked of the Palestinians themselves with the death tolls that cyrus_king presented.
Cyrus and others like him on this board seem to so easily forget who started the intifada. Your own people are responsible for those "shocking" numbers! Go send an email to Arafat and blast him, do the same to every terror organization that claims to be murdering innocent people in the name of the Palestinian 'cause', than perhaps you'll actually be doing something purposeful for the Palestinian peoples 'cause'.
Don’t try and play the 'poor Palestinians' game here. For the most part people in this forum are pretty intelligent, although sometimes moved by over-dramatic and emotional outcries from the Palestinian people, they can see right through these childish antics. Arafat is a farce. He must be removed from power for real peace talks to take place. He is a clown - a political puppet!
When will the strings that hold him up be cut?
(i have a great power point presentation on statistics of the past 2 years of violence. can someone please message me and tell me how i can post it... i have it saved to my H.D.)
