First check your manual if there isn't a switch anywhere, cuz usually there is one. If there is not, the converter should work just fine

I agree. I believe there is some type of switch. Possibly internal. Check manual or call pioneer.

Yeah, I called my local electrician, and he said most advanced pieces of electronical equipent have a switch like that, but the manual doesnt say anything about one, and I cant find it anywhere.
So I carefully unscrewed the top of the mixer, looking for a huge "VOLTAGE SELECTOR" swith ( which of course I didn't find ).
I did see a portion of text that had been covered with a felt tip pen or something.
When I held it under the light I could see it said 250V (among some technical giberish I couldn't understand )
Does this mean the voltage cant be changed?

The specs say 110-120/240-250

So yes, you should be able to switch it

Nowhere in my manual nor on my mixer ( exept for where i mentioned in my previous post ) does it say anything about 220-250V.

Well on this site it says:

Power Supply: AC 110-120/220-230/240 V, 50/60 Hz


But I searched around and there are other sites that just say 220, so I guess it depends on what your manual says, so I assume there ISN'T a switch so you'll have to buy an adaptor.

Yeah , I'm guessing that "AC 110-120/220-230/240 V, 50/60 Hz" is just reffering to the power supply that the american and european models each require.
Mine says 120V 60Hz.
Maybe because it's a relatively old model ( sept. 2000 ).

I have a 600 and there is a switch on the back. You don't have to open anything up at all, its next to the XLR outs. says voltage slector 220-240 110-120.

You must have a slightly different model than me, because mine doesn't.
I ended up buying a voltage converter, and it works fine. A small concern I have is that this adapter has a maximum effect of 33W, and I'm unsure if this will do if I ever use it on a PA.
