Here I am !
I just got back from Florida a few hours ago (Didn't know anyone missed me - makes me glad heh=)
As for Starscape - It's held at Fort Armistead Park in Baltimore, MD and it's usually the 2nd weekend in June. It's thrown by Ultraworld Productions - One of the best promoters in the usa IMO and was also voted that by URB magizine - I think it's mainly because they put so much effort in setting up there events, and you can tell there not really in it for the money. (Only one dollar for waters the last 2 years...never seen that anywhere else hehe) I have promoted for them for the last 2 years events, and so far I haven't gotten any e-mails from them telling me what the story is for this year. If I don't hear anything in a couple weeks, I'll e-mail Lonnie, and see what's going on. I have a feeling that there isn't gonna be one this year tho...(I hope I'm wrong)
As for the DJ lineup - it usually isn't that great (mainly because they don't want to bring to big of a crowd to the event) Don't get me wrong, it's definaly isn't bad, just not too many "big name" DJ's. (Actally the Jungle lineup for Starscape is usually what has the most headliners=)
But anyways - they always do advanced tickets only, and only allow so many tickets to be sold (This event always sells out by the way) I think it's 4000 capasity (Could be 3000, not sure) As for the venue - this has to be the 2nd best outdoor venue that I have ever been to (next to Bayfront Park in Miami) I have been the last 2 years, and last year they put so much effort into the party - It seemed like a totally different place then when I was there in 2001. The Park itself is a beautiful venue, and I highly reccomend going.
I really hope that there is one this year though - that place brings back some of the best memories that I will ever remember -
Well i hope I answered your questions, and if you have anymore - just ask

Hehe first of all I said "not too many" so that means there could be a coupple there And the meaning of "big name Dj's" definatly has different meanings for different people - I mean, I know people that would consider Dj's like Frankie Bones and Bad Boy Bill really big name dj's, and other people would just say that they aren't at all, and consider the big names to be people like tiesto, pvd, ferry, etc...? See, I used to think Aquaviva was a "big name" dj untill i found out who tiesto, ferry, sasha, carl cox, etc was - now i just think of Aquaviva as kinda in the middle heh
Know what I kind of mean now, or did I confuse you more? Trust me, I'm not trying to say that the lineup isn't good, especialy if im gonna be promoting for the event hehe - I'm just saying that it just might not be good to others in other peoples points of view, imo. Oh yea, and again - the venue is what gets me to go - This party could have the worst lineup ever, and i'd still go just because I love the venue so much...but that's just me, other people might not like it
*edit* Also another reason why i think i like this party so much, it not only is it an outdoor venue - its a night party - usually 9-6. All outdoor parties that i've ever been to, (ultra, boo, eden, etc) have been day parties, so I think that's another thing that makes the event so much better for me
