lol! that's what you call HARD Epic/Cyber Trance and Nu NRG, these genres can be played anywhere from 140bpm to 170bpm
2 dj_Psygnosis, good mixing work, in your second sample, the track is just a plain CHEESE, loose vocal trance whenever you can, or if vocals must be, pick out something with an upbeat progressive sound ie. Iio-the end or rapture, Conjure One - Tears From The Moon(Tiesto Rmx), Conjure One -- Sleep(Ian Van Dahl Rmx), Perpetual Dreamer -- Sound of Goodbye, these tracks have lots of vocal in them, but the female voice is sort of deep yet very sexy, and the constantly moving rhythmic melody makes up for having vocals in the track.
your first sample has pretty good hard epic trance, but you just need to pitch down just about 3-5bpm and the music will sound richer and clearer. I am guessing you were somewhere around 150-155bpm?
