The weather just started doing some weird shit...hail or rain or wet snow something. But it sounded like someone was in my house, farting around in the cupboards in our plastic bag collection. And it scared the shit out of me, lol.

"Farting around" is a funny expression.
I've had something like that happen before. When I first got my dog, I woke up in the middle of the night to something that sounded like somebody typing really loudly on my computer keyboard. Turned out it was just the dog tearing up the carpet, lol.

LOL
When I was a kid, I was home with my sister and it was late at night. She was in bed and I was watching America's Most Wanted. So naturally I was already in a creeped out mood. All of a sudden the whole house starts shaking and our china cabinet is rattling, and I could hear this big rumbling/windy sound. All I could think was "OMG TORNADO!!", and I ran upstairs and jumped on top of my sister, screaming and freaking out.
Turns out it was just a transport truck passing our house. Lol.

I live about forty feet from some train tracks, so some rattling and rumbling is a regular event. They aren't allowed to use their horns in this area, though.
I've twice experienced mild earthquakes in areas where they almost never happen, once in Texas and once in Virginia. That was pretty interesting.

Yeah, we've had a couple here in the past few years. Super weird for sure.

Mild earthquakes are awesome.
By the way, what's the difference between wet snow and sleet? Or is it the same thing?
