They did it last week with my graze box too which has perishable food in & so doesn't do well waiting overnight in a big room with other shit. I don't see why they can't be arsed to just knock (or in our case, ring the bell) I'd have been down in about 60 seconds before they'd delivered to every apartment & it would be done. Now I have to go queue in the rain tomorrow outside their shitty delivery office & have some gruff dickhead moan because I want to retrieve our parcel.

We have a show called Swift & Shift couriers, which you wouldn't have seen because you're still stuck watching Neighbours or some other retarded crap.

I had an embarassing discussion at the office yesterday

Me: You didn't even attempt to deliver it
Him: Well, your building only gave us one entry key and not all delivery people have it.
Me: Well since your delivery person must have used it to enter our building to deliver the note that you weren't able to deliver it to us, surely they could have brought it up to us & completed the delivery?
Him: Well, we're not in the process of delivering to individual doors in your building
Me: Well, two of your other staff regularly do it & do a great job
Him: Well they shouldn't do it, they're not meant to
Me: Go above & beyond the call of duty? That's actually a good thing.
Him: Well they shouldn't be doing it. It's not our fault
Me: Well, since before they enter the building, they have the option of using the intercom to inform us of their arrival and we can either let them into the building if they're not able to get in, or at least come downstairs & take it off them, saving them from carrying it back to base?
Him: Mumbles & goes off to find it

I actually came out of it feeling pity for him
