Ugh, one of my coworkers asked if I wanted to buy a raffle ticket for her buck and doe. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's when a couple who are planning a wedding have a party before the wedding which is essentially a fundraiser for the wedding. You have buy tickets to go, and buy raffle tickets, and pay to play games and other shit while you're there.
I do not agree with this shit at all. I think it is beyond tacky and such bad manners. I don't even remember when this became a thing, but a lot of people do it.
Wtf if you can't afford your wedding wait a fucking year or don't have one you can't afford.
Anyway, my coworker asked me if I wanted to buy a ticket last night and to be polite I said "Sorry no money on me." But what I wanted to say was how fucking rude I thought it was to ask me that at all. Ugh!
