Read the wiki - precordial catch isn't a cardiac thing. They think the pain originates from the parietal pleura of the lungs...which makes perfect sense (in relation to my symptoms at any rate), heh.



edit: sucks you've got an arrhythmia though - I have a friend with an issue and the docs just can't seem to help her. She even had a Holter monitor for 72 hours and it didn't catch anything. What a pain.

No, its a history course, but the teacher is focused on doing a research paper for it (lol its on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki apparently, this will be a slam dunk) and my English course is on research papers.

So both are about research papers and the history teacher has a penchant for being particular about the proper way of doing research papers (I have taken a course from him before, but he seems to have gotten more hardcore since the last time I took one of his courses).

Easy A imo. Research papers are a joke. No creativity involved whatsoever.

Yea pretty much. Even better if I can write the same paper for both classes hahaha.

The english class has 2 days a week in lab doing research and learning research techniques so its pretty piddly stuff. I am kinda sitting there going "crap why did I go back to school again?"

Course this is just shit I need for transfer credits so gotta do what ya gotta do.

Yeah, I read it, I was just getting at the fact that I've been complaining about pain in that region (the same shit you have) for a while, but no one ever thought of or mentioned precordial catch, and I'm guessing it's because I have arrythmia and they assumed it was heart related. Though one person once told me I had enflamed ribs or something like that and that I needed to take ibuprofen every day lol

Meh, yeah, I'm kinda used to it by now. Bothers me every once in a while, and I certainly hope that it won't kill me, but nothing I can really do about it =/

Gotta disagree with you on the joke, part, though. A good research paper can be quite challenging, involving a lot of intense analytic work.

Yea, which they generally seem to do at SCCC, care that is.

Research essay vs. paper too, so you need an actual thesis and to defend it or whatever you figure out from your research (the way the english teacher described it almost made it sound like he was advocating politicizing it so you research to your thesis's intent, not to verify your thesis... lol).

Oh, woa, you need an actual thesis and you need to defend it? Yeah, SCCC is definitely a real school.

Haha, should have clarified. You dont need to defend it obviously in front of a board or anything like that.

I meant in the context of a research paper vs. an essay (a look what i learned vs. a i think this is this way, and here is my research to prove it).

That being said, the staff at SCCC is really good. It is rated as one of the top CCs in the entire country and they have a number of 4 year bachelors courses too.
