Thanks to the perfectionist in me I normally spend about 3-6 months planning and replanning mixes, resulting in a lot of the music I buy not being shared with anyone apart from my long suffering neighbours. This is a shame as a lot of it is rather good. So, the idea behind these mixes is just to share a bit more of the large amount of music that I buy. For this little project the mixes may be a little less polished than those I spend more time preparing, but I aim to get more of them finished, hopefully about 1 a month. I wont make loads of threads, I'll just keep updating this one when I've got something new to share.

So yeah, 1 a month kinda didnt happen, but here is the next instalment, May 2011. Yes, yes I know its July but I did do this in May but have been having, er, issues with technology. There should be a July one to follow very shortly.
This is mostly prog, kind laid back summery vibe about it and, as it turns out, a lot of stuff from Mistiquemusic. Isnt that nice.
link doesn't work mate, and sure looks tasty, well apart from the last track which i hate with a passion.

You know I almost didnt, but it was a nice sunny evening and it seemed to make sense heh.
I was wondering if someone might take exception to it
i know some people like that remix but i really don't like what mike foyle did to "home". and the ben watt remix of that is a great tune but what foyle did was to soak the original with a massive synthwash and i was appalled the first time i heard it (when mike posted it here on ta) and i don't think much of it now.

AUGUST
Heres Augusts instalment, had some time the other friday between work and pub so got a six pack from the shop and recorded this. Mixture of house, prog, breaks and techno. Some new, some old, even got out the wax heh. Its very much a stream of conciousness without much planning, and is presented warts and all, but hopefully it all ties together.
01 Hybrid - Gravastar [Distinct'ive Breaks]
02 Pe & Ban - One More Thing [BWG Records]
03 Roland Klinkenberg & Gerry Menu - Stir It Up [68 Recordings]
04 Eddie Amador - Rise (Futureshock's Universal Mix) [Defected]
05 Cid Inc. - Wannabe [Iboga]
06 Bjoern Small - Just Let Go [Green Martian]
07 Lank - Bounce Back (Lank's Atmo Mix) [microCastle]
08 Meat Katie & Dylan Rhymes - Roll Player (Hedflux Remix) [LOT49]
09 Benz & MD - Near Dark [Aurium Recordings]
10 Trancesetters - Roaches (Peace Division Mix) [Hooj]
11 Hunter Vaughan - Ragnarok (Beta Remix) [AUX]
12 Phasebase - Twisted Dream (Burufunk Remix) [O Recordings]
13 Force Mass Motion & Dylan Rhymes - Hold Back [Acetate Ltd]
14 Meat Katie - Lucia (Mateo Murphy Remix) [LOT49]
15 Danny Tenaglia - Turn Me On (John Digweed & Nick Muir's Bedrock Mix) [Twisted]
16 Dylan Rhymes & Pablo Decoder - I Am Sweet (Hyperion Remix) [LOT49]
17 Plump DJs - Shifting Gears (Stanton Warriors Remix) [Finger Lickin Records]
18 Umek - You Might Hear Nothing [Dataworx Digital]
19 Tim Deluxe - Jack It [Skint Records]
20 Timo Maas - Jetstream [Cocoon Recordings]
21 Static Revenger - Happy People [D-Dub]
PS It fades out at the end because a) the mix was horrible, b) happy people seemed like a better tune to finish on and c) it was time for me to go to the pub.
