I find it mildly amusing that he gave up on trying to bring back real trance just as real trance has actually started to come back. But other than that... who cares? Lots of places you can go to hear genuine trance right now.

His current sound is boring as fuck, same with Airwave. Saw JOOF live 2 years ago here in Stockholm and it was the worst fucking thing i have ever seen.
Expected some dark trance, instead he played generic modern mellow techno bullshit for 2 hours, he ended the set with raping Suburban Train in 128 BPM.
I don't mean to get personal here but I think his divorce might have had a personal hit his sound changed after he became divorced but I could be wrong and something like that would affect me greatly too if I was in his position.
I don't mean to get personal either but that's the rankest bs. Quite inappropriate, too.

I'd enjoy that at 128---if anything it's a brilliant track for a super long transition. (If only someone explained harmonic mixing to Tijs back in the day.)

Don't forget to spill out some tea in RANN's memory. RIP

Doesn't he have a special connection to Toronto since the 90's? yeah I'll check this out.
