Nice kit and honestly, don't stress about the cable spiderweb; When PVD walked in to BT's studio for the first time and saw a mess of cables he said something like I'm glad it's not only me that's messy.
Couple of things though.
1, Turn your stands not the speakers; you have recoils on there and they only work properly when the speaker is properly set square on them.
2, Get your furman and powerbars away from any audio cables. no point having pristine DACs etc if you;re recording a whole bunch of EFI and EMI.
3, Clean yo desk. The jizz stains on the glass will eventually creep in to your synths and breed little Juan Gremlins in there.

Yoo Rann, remember the sonodyne monitor I was talking about that I bought from Sweetwater.
Here's whats wrong with it, in the beginning it was little stable and the interference would go away after a few mins but now as you can see in the vid its crazy taxi
Mind the puppies in the background.

That's not interference. That's the electronics inside crapping out. Doesn't it have DSP or a dac in there?
Have you actually spoken to Sonodyne? Don't say you bought it second hand, just call them and state that your monitor has this problem etc.
I can't tell you the number of times I've done this and they never even checked the retail date.

Damn, you do know your stuff, sonodyne told me it was a loose component in the DSP board, I'm talking to a service tech from Sweetwater right now, we'll see what happens.
AHh shit. I'm out of warranty, I have to pay round trip shipping of the heavy thing, and service feee of 60$ per hour including labor and parts.

I keep trying to tell people....
Dunno how good you are at taking apart / fixing things, but I'd have a crack before sending it anywhere, or otherwise, is there no audio seller or electronics repair close that can help? Paying shipping is a total waste.
I have an idea, what if I pay the repair man to do the job at my hause, should be no biggie right?

I purchased one of these portable DJ trusses so I can put disco lights up. However I am a bit nervous of their strength. The T junction is nylon, and also there is nothing to stop the truss bridge from sliding out if you bumped one of the tripods apart. My idea is to use security cables to catch the truss if it pops out.
There are keyholes in the T junction that suggest I drill a hole in the pipe to put a bolt through but I am not confident in the connector's strength. It's plastic. Hopefully I can find a replacement T junction that is made of metal.
The instructions that came with this thing are non-instructions really.
What if some hero decides to do chin ups on the truss? Might be safer to just use the two tripods as separate light stands, and not use the 3m truss bridge at all.
Specs:
Material: Steel
Colour: Black
Single T-bar length: 1.2 m
Single truss length: 1.5 m
Adjustable height: 2.4 - 4 m
Max. weight capacity: 120 kg
Delivery includes: 2 tripods, 2 support tubes, 2 T-bars, 2 truss bridges, and mounting accessories
Brand: vidaXL

Pretty sure that's a Google Earth image from 1994.
