Not only do pharmacy techs not make very much at all, but you're aware that you're comparing not only different financial currencies as well as different local and national economies, yes? She made apples, but you made 60-70% (details, details!) more oranges!

It doesn't matter though, so stop making it a matter. Do what you like, and like what you do.

Since you apparently wish to keep up acting like an immature imbecile...

I assume you've done a statistical analysis of every 19 year old with a job, to determine that you have the single highest wage, to make such a bold statement that you have the best job of any 19 year old?

Furthermore, how much you make per hour isn't the only way to judge how good a job is.

Also, I bet I made more than you at the age of 19, but that doesn't really matter, because no matter how much anybody makes, you're still an idiot.

"La Boheme" (by Puccini). Was really good. I recently saw "Carmen" and "Tosca" as well, but this felt as being above both. Still doesn't beat my favourite, "Turandot". Going this Wednesday to see "Adriana Lecouvreur".

Seriously man, you're a 19 year old bragging about how much money he makes. Calm down.

I'm usually very relaxed when someone's phone rings, because there's always the chance they're having a bad day and it just so happened that their phone rang the one time they forgot to turn it off. Students included. If a student, however, picks up the phone inside the classroom (I don't mind if they leave, it might be important), I will stop the class and have everybody look at them before I nail them with the shame hammer.

This being said, it does annoy me. Happened to me a while ago, but they were speaking Japanese, not Arabic.

Ah, if we're talking classrooms, that happens on daily basis (not for me though). However, I find theatre/opera and other such environments to be a bit more important, not only due to bothering others, but foremost as a sign of disrespect towards the actors, orchestra.

I find absolutely no excuse for something like that. Especially the answering part.

I consider them all extremely rude. Don't the teachers deserve respect? What about the students who are trying to pay attention?

Your phone going off is extremely irritating and somewhat rude, but it could just be that someone forgot to turn it off. I tend to forgive people that. But answering the phone is just disgusting.

I prefer Tosca to La Boheme, but they're both great, imo. Carmen, too. Haven't seen either Turandot or Adriana.

Cool. For my part, I simply didn't feel Tosca as much as the others. I want to see again Faust (you should too, if you haven't already). It's really something, but extremely heavy, so to speak. Five acts ~4.5 hours. Traviata is on my top 3 as well, mostly due to its simplicity.

Turandot should be a treat. I love how three of the characters (Ping, Pang, Pong) overlay each other. The actors here did an amazing job. Not to mention the glorious "Nessun Dorma" in the third act:

OT: I always sit in the same lodge so I see the orchestra as well. There's an extremely beautiful violinist.

OT2: How much does a ticket at the opera cost in the US?

Depends on the Opera and the Opera House.

La Boheme is playing at the Seattle Opera in a few months, tickets range from about $60 for bad seats to $140 for good ones, at least on the random day I clicked on.

We also do the whole Ring Cycle every 4 years, though, and those range from $300 for the worst seats to $1,100 for the best (for one cycle).

My family has season-tickets to the Vancouver Opera, but I can't recall how much tickets are. I want to say with our members discount they're about $200 Canadian for pretty good seats, though I could be wrong.

How much there?

Sounds fascinating. I've never seen any opera so I think it would be a great new experience. I'm just too embarrassed to go alone and I don't know anyone to go with. Maybe I just should man up and go alone.

I always go alone.
