A headline and blurb is supposed to tell you what the fucking story is about.
Okay, some teen took a photo of someone. And we are supposed to care...why?
But strangely, I actually searched Google just now to figure out by what stroke of stupidity this non-event has become a "news story." Maybe that was their goal all along.

Saw something on Reddit today about how the Buzzfeed CEO claims they don't use clickbait titles.
Really there is nothing more I hate than clickbait titles. If I had the chance to go back in time and kill Hitler or the guy who invented clickbait or similar style headlines I'd def kill the clickbait asshole.

Ugh. Fuck today.
Fuck everything about it. School, work, my fucking head feeling like it was in a vice, testing session going not good (and me being unable to really do anything about it), and just general malaise.
It is only 7PM and it feels like 2AM and I even took a hour or so nap. Also it is Friday and I feel like I want to go do something but there is nothing interesting to do, at least with out spending a bunch of money.

Here is a fun ghetto story for all of you.
So today I was at the raptors game with some girl. I kind of ditched her after the game and headed home. While Subwaying home I received a text from a girl from the ghetto neighbourhood i grew up in. She asked me to come by the bar she was working at (in the neighbourhood) and that she has been missing me lately and wants to see me. She's a lil tight piece of ass so i figured what the hell I'll go by for a beer, eventhough beyond better judgement I wouldn't be caught dead in the place. So I went by and it was pleasant enough. While she was bartending this thug comes up to me and comments on my brooklyn nets hat I was sporting. he tell me he was at the raptors game tonight. Since I was there as well we started talking about the game and sports in general. We shot the shit for close to an hour when the girl asked me to go outside for a smoke with her. I said sure shook the guys hand, he asked me for my name I told him and he introduced himself as Sean. I stepped outside for a smoke with the girl and she asked me "you do know who you are talking to in there?"
I said "ya some guy named Sean"
She replied "ya Sean B*****n"
heres a little back story. Back when I was in grade 10 There was an older kid who had it in for me at high school. he made it well known he wanted to kick the shit out of me. For weeks leading up to one dreadful night this older kid would come up to me in the halls and try to pick a fight with me. Now this guy was known for being gang related and I was young and much younger then he was. I was terrified. One day walking down the hall he grabbed me and threw me into a locker and told me this was the day he was going to get me. he let everyone in the school know that after school he was going to kick the shit out of me. Everyone was warning me that day and I made the concious decision to skip school and go home early to avoid this. I was not sure what I was going to do the next day and I guess the idea was I was hoping it would blow over by the next day. Well the next day came for me but not for him. The next day he was in Jail. He ended up stabbing another kid and the kid locked himself into a car and bled to death during the assault.
I dodged a bullet that night. In my head that was meant for me. I remember being so thankful that it wasnt me.
Well it ends up that dude in the bar I had that long conversation with ended up being that same guy from when I was a kid and he's out of jail now. I don't know if he knew it was me or not tongiht...but now that I look back at it. I am pretty sure he did.
funny times.

It's actually the easiest way to communicate with everyone as a group and reach a consensus. We all have different schedules, some have kids, and everyone lives in a different part of town. We always make event pages for stuff like this to ensure everyone can be accommodated (or most everyone, at least). It has nothing to do with being impersonal and everything to do with practicality.
Send a group SMS? Sounds just as practical to me and actually forces people not to ignore you. Fuck facebook invites. You can direct them to that page that no one looks at or cares about for reference later.
No phone call, no text, no care.

I guess you don't have enough friends to know what it's like to coordinate a bunch of different people's schedules, but text is the most inefficient and frustrating way to do it. I agree that for intimate get togethers of a handful of people that a phone call or text is the best way, but not for groups of more than 5.
Facebook is the simplest and most efficient way to communicate with a large group of people.

I would say a majority of my facebook usage is for gatherings of all sizes. From club nights to one offs.

I have over 70 people with different schedules to coordinate every week; I don't need to use facebook to do so. I always get answered back. It s really quite simple.
The friends comment is cute, since yours clearly like answering your requests. I don't have this problem of being ignored by those that matter to me.
You can get catty if you want Jen, but the reality remains that it is you who made the original comment about people flaking, and I merely told you why. You can choose to be pig-headed, but in reality what I say is true and not intended to flame. Ask anyone else how effective facebook is for what you are trying to do.
So stubborn, I can't imagine what kind of irrational person you become when your floppy fly-ridden minge decides to bleed every few weeks.

Good job slylee. Thanks for reminding us why men still rule the roost.
